On Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 12:24pm Michael Robert Restagno, AKA “Haircut” age 50 years, peacefully passed away after a two year battle with nasopharyngeal cancer, at home in Ocoee, Florida, comforted by his wife May Ocampo Restagno.



Mike was born on Staten Island to Joanne Braun Collett and Charles Restagno. He was raised on Staten Island with his two sisters Lisa Klemens and Karen Barbieri. A native to Staten Island, he attended Moore Catholic High School, The College of Staten Island and Devry University in NJ. Mike found a career with AT&T...

On Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 12:24pm Michael Robert Restagno, AKA “Haircut” age 50 years, peacefully passed away after a two year battle with nasopharyngeal cancer, at home in Ocoee, Florida, comforted by his wife May Ocampo Restagno.



Mike was born on Staten Island to Joanne Braun Collett and Charles Restagno. He was raised on Staten Island with his two sisters Lisa Klemens and Karen Barbieri. A native to Staten Island, he attended Moore Catholic High School, The College of Staten Island and Devry University in NJ. Mike found a career with AT&T as a Field Technician and later a Technical Support Manager. He recently celebrated 20 years with the company. Mike continued to live most of his life on Staten Island where he met and later married his soul mate May. Together they spent the last 5 years in sunny Ocoee, Florida enjoying the theme parks.



Mike was known by family and friends as an amazing chef and huge sports enthusiast. He played softball on weekends, darts on Tuesday nights and always tuned in on game night to check his fantasy football teams, even until the very end. The NY Giants, Mets and Rangers were his teams, he was a dedicated fan. Also known for his love of animals, Mike was always taking in strays and offering them a home, regardless of room. Mike was survived by his four-legged pets; Molly, Raider, Stripy, Winky, Miss Daisy and Vito.



Wake & Church Services will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 from 3-8 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 428 East Plant Street, Winter Garden, Fl. 34787. Funeral to follow on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 12-1pm at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery 6200 SW 77th Street, Miami, FL. 33143. All guests are requested to wear White, Light Colors or Sports Attire.
